It was 1960. My granny took a long drive from Mexico city to Houston, Tx. While her son was having an eye surgery, she needed refresh, so she entered the restroom. While she was washing her hands, three African American ladies, were staring at her with the WTF look. She turned around and politly asked if she was doing something wrong, one of them approached her and said: "this is a nigger restroom". It was the first time my granny heard such a tag. So with a fearless face she asked: Is my pee different than yours? They answered with an unanimous no, she asked then: "Do we pee in a different way?" They answered with the same no, so she said: We then, have no need for a different restroom. They showed a slight but warm smile. Those were sensible times, that is a sensible issue. We are still experiencing RACISM issues regardless the pandemic, time, and development.
We need to progress! We need to reach a higher consciousness. It is imperative!
We have no need nor right to see ourselves superior, inferior, better, worse, lesser than any other human being regardless of any traits. We are human beings, color DOES NOT defines us!
